Silicon Sensing生产的MEMS陀螺仪一贯采用环形谐振器。
通常，科里奥利力是用振动型MEMS陀螺仪来检测的。振动型陀螺仪在获取角速度时，本身先作基本振动，当有角速度施加时先前的振动将发生变化，陀螺仪就将这个变化量输出出来。环形谐振器的最大优势就是当陀螺仪受到振动或冲击时，能最大限度地抑制振动或冲击对输出量即角速度值的影响。
因此、是以抗冲击抗震动闻名的陀螺仪而被广泛使用。另外，Silicon Sensing的陀螺仪与通常的陀螺仪相比更能在高精度应用领域大显身手。
